Chapter 4 - Campaigns - Third-Party Rewards

Introduction

• Campaigns are a type of offer that BookMyShow facilitate for a third party.
• Campaign offers can be codes that are redeemable on other platforms or the BookMyShow platform.

Warning

Please note that for a campaign offer, you need to create a third-party offer on the offer creation page.

Creating A Campaign

• Creating a campaign is a two-part process.
• First, you have to create a third-party offer on the offer creation page.

Offer Creation For Campaigns

• Following parameters are required for the offer creation of campaigns.

  • Offer Type
    • Select "Third Party Codes" in the offer type.
  • Offer Code
    • CampaignId Should Be the Same As ReportingId.
  • Active Toggle
  • Offer Name
  • Start DateTime and End DateTime
  • Send Alert

  • Upload Third Party Codes

    • Upload the third-party codes provided via the relevant medium such as Slack, mail, etc.
      

      

  • Rules

• Once a third-party offer is created for the campaigns.

• The user needs to create a campaign for the created offer.

• Create a Campaign option is found at the bottom of the campaign page.
  

  

• After clicking "Create Campaign" you will be redirected to the campaign information page.

Campaign Information Page

• A campaign offer configuration requires the following parameters.

  • Campaign ID
    

    

    • Campaign ID is used to track a campaign.
    • It is ideal to keep OfferID and CampaignID the same.
      • Campaign Name
        

    

    • Campaign Name is used to identify a campaign.
      • Active Toggle
      • Start Time
      • End Date Time
      • Linking campaign to OfferID created before

    • Third-Party Offer
      

      

      • This option indicates that the offer should be redeemable on the third-party platform.

    • BMS Offer
      

      

      • This option indicates that the offer should be redeemable on the BookMyShow platform.

    • FilmyPass Offer
      

      

      • This option indicates that the offer should follow the construct of the FilmyPass Offer.

  • Add Offer
    

    

  • This option will link the campaign ID to the selected OfferID.

  • Create and Publish
    

    

  • This option will publish the campaign and codes will be available in the system for redemption.

Searching A Campaign

• Use search options on the campaign page to search for a campaign.
• A campaign can be searched via the following options:
  • Search By Status
  • Search By Name
  • Search By Offer Code

Actions Available After Campaign Publication

• The following options are available:
  • Info
  • Edit
  • Copy
  • Delete
