Creating a AdSpot

Overview

• Adspots are created to act as a placeholder for a particular ad section in the applications and website.

Steps:

To add a “Adspot”/Adunit.

In the GAM CMS:

• Navigate to Inventory, then Ad units.

• Create a new ad unit: Click New ad unit and select the parent ad unit in the ad unit settings.

In the Internal CMS:

1. Go to https://cms-in.bookmyshow.com/apps/ad-tech/ad-spots.

2. Click on “+Adspot”.

3. Add a descriptive name for the Ad Spot.

4. Add a “Adspot Code” similar to the name of the adspot.

5. Select the size of the adspot.

   • This will determine the size of the placeholder of the adspot.

6. Select “publisher” for the advertisement.

7. Select “platform” on which adspot will be visible.

8. Select “ad-serving type” for the adspot.

9. Add any “custom fields” we want configure for this specific adspot.

   • This will be determined basis requirement for the ads.
