Objective:

• This document provides guides for the basic functionalities of BookMyShow.

How to get the BookMyShow application:

Download and Install the App:

1. Search for ‘BookMyShow’ on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and download the app.
2. Sign up or log in using your mobile number, email, or other options provided.

How to select your location:

Choose Your City and Location for the first time:

1. Open the ‘BookMyShow’ app.
2. Select your current city or the city where you want to watch the movie.
3. Select your preferred location if there are multiple movie theaters in your chosen city.

Change Your City and Location:

1. Select your city by clicking the location option at the top of the screen below ‘It All Starts Here’.
2. Select your current city or the city where you want to watch the movie.

Browsing For Shows

Browsing for a Movie

Browsing for ‘Now Showing’ Movie:

1. Open the BookMyShow app.
2. Click on the ‘Movie’ icon at the bottom.

1. Select a movie of your liking and book the session by following the procedure here.

Browsing for ‘Upcoming Movies’ Movie:

1. Open the BookMyShow app.
2. Click on the ‘Movie’ icon at the bottom.

1. Click on the ‘Coming Soon’ section.
2. Select a specific language if needed.
3. Apply a variety of filters to your needs.
4. Scroll and browse your favorite upcoming movies.

Browsing for a Live Event:

1. Open the BookMyShow app.
2. Click on the ‘Live Events’ icon at the bottom.

1. Select the categories if needed.
2. Scroll through the page and choose the event of your liking.
3. Book the event by clicking on book, and select the number of tickets and seating arrangements if necessary.
4. Complete the payment and your tickets will be confirmed.

Browsing a Show to Stream on Devices:

1. Open the BookMyShow app.
2. Click on the ‘Stream’ Icon at the top of the screen.
   
3. Choose a show of your liking and rent or buy the show.

How to Book A Ticket

1. Find Your Movie:

2. Browse through the "Now Showing" or "Coming Soon" sections to find the movie you want to watch.

3. You can also use the search bar to type in the movie title or cast members.

4. Select Show Date and Time:

5. Click on the movie poster of choice to view available show dates and times.

6. Choose the date and time that suits your schedule.

7. Pick Your Seats:

8. BookMyShow offers different seating options like Standard, Balcony, Platinum, etc. Select the preferred category.

9. A virtual seating chart will appear, showing available seats. Choose your desired seats individually or by selecting a group option.

10. Apply Offers and Promo Codes (Optional):

11. If you have any BookMyShow coupons or promo codes, enter them in the designated field before proceeding.

12. Check if applying the offer gives you a better deal on the ticket price.

13. Payment and Confirmation:

14. Choose your preferred payment method such as credit/debit card, UPI, or Paytm wallet.

15. Review your booking details for accuracy, including movie title, date, time, seat numbers, and total amount.

16. Once confirmed, proceed with the payment and complete the booking.

17. View and Manage Your Booking:

18. You will receive a confirmation email and SMS containing your booking details.

19. You can also access your booking information and ticket QR code within the app in the ‘Profile’ Section.
20. The QR code will be scanned at the cinema entrance for entry.

Accessing Booked Tickets for Upcoming Shows

1. Click on the ‘Profile’ icon at the bottom.

2. Your booked tickets for future shows will be shown here.

Accessing All Booked Tickets

1. Click on the ‘Profile’ icon at the bottom.

2. Click on the ‘Your Orders’ section. You can see all the orders.

Contacting For Help

Access our help center for any query.

To Access Help Center:

1. Click on the ‘Profile’ icon at the bottom.

2. Click on the Help Centre.

1. Choose your query or raise an issue.

Raising an Issue for a Ticket/Order:

1. Click on the ‘Profile’ icon at the bottom.

2. Click on the Help Centre.

1. Click on the ‘See All Topics’ section or the ticket you want to ask the query.

2. Scroll down and click on ‘Contact Us’ to raise a query for Ticket/Order.
